Hundreds attend wake for slain Chicago police officer Hundreds of mourners attended a wake Sunday for slain Chicago police officer Richard Francis. The 60-year-old veteran police officer was fatally shot while on duty. His funeral is scheduled for Monday.

Woman dies at hotel of stab wounds
Adalina Weber had just finished waiting tables at the Walker Bros. pancake house in Lincolnshire Saturday. But after apparently driving to a nearby hotel parking lot, she was stabbed multiple times, police said.
